## How much does Calven cost?

| Plan | Monthly | Annual (20% off) | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | $99/mo | Monthly only | One PMM buying without procurement |
| Professional | $1,000/mo | $9,600/yr ($800/mo) | Smaller companies with one product |
| Enterprise | from $2,000/mo | from $19,200/yr ($1,600/mo) | Bigger companies or multiple products |

Calven pricing is public, even for Enterprise: every plan can be bought self-serve without a quote or a sales call.

## What is included in each plan?

| | Individual | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Products | 1 | 1 | 2+ |
| Competitors tracked | 3 | 10 | 20+ |
| Transcripts & documents per month | 50 | 500 | 1,000+ |
| Win/loss interviews per month | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| ICP & persona profiles | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Messaging frameworks | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Seats | 1 (one workspace per company) | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| CRM (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio) | No | Yes | Yes |
| Call transcripts (e.g. Gong, Chorus, Granola) | Manual upload | Yes | Yes |
| Competitive intel runs | Weekly | Weekly | Daily |
| Market trends | Quarterly | Quarterly | Monthly |
| Calven MCP server | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Slack app | No | Yes | Yes |
| SSO | No | No | Yes |
| Expansion Packs | No | No | Yes |

Seats are not a pricing dimension on the team plans. Company size is priced through products and volume, not headcount.

Professional includes one product, the same as Individual. A second product means Enterprise.

## What is an Expansion Pack?

Expansion Packs are how Enterprise scales, and they are available on Enterprise only. Each pack costs $500 a month, or $4,800 a year ($400 a month billed annually), and adds:

- 1 more product
- 5 more competitors tracked
- 500 more transcripts & documents per month

Packs are a fixed monthly price, not metered usage. Nothing in Calven is billed by consumption. Below Enterprise there are no add-ons: the path past a limit is an upgrade.

Worked examples: a company with 5 products and about 2,500 transcripts & documents a month needs 3 packs, which is $33,600 a year. A company with 10 products needs 8 packs, which is $57,600 a year.

## Is there a free trial?

Yes. 14 days on any plan, with no credit card.

If a trial ends without a subscription, nothing is deleted. Everything the agents built stays visible and intact, and nothing new is processed until you subscribe. A lapsed workspace is kept for 90 days, with reminders at 60 and 80 days, before it is removed.

## Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?

Use both. A chat session gives you a one-off answer that starts going stale the day you get it. Calven keeps your research, personas and messaging in one workspace, its agents keep watching your competitors and market on a schedule instead of waiting to be asked, and every finding is cited back to the source it came from. Over MCP, Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini read that workspace directly, so the AI tool you already use answers from your own context. See https://calven.ai/mcp.md.

## What counts as a product?

A product is one positioning and messaging workspace, with its own competitors and personas. The customer chooses the granularity. If one messaging document covers a whole platform, that is one product. Separate positioning, competitive sets and personas per line means several.

## What counts as a transcript or document?

One pool covers both. It includes every recorded customer-facing call brought in by integrations (sales, prospect and customer success) plus every uploaded file: research reports, survey exports, analyst notes, internal decks. If a call arrives through Gong and the transcript is also uploaded, that is one, not two.

## Can Calven get through a security review?

Yes, handled async. No sales call does not mean no paperwork. The Trust Center holds the security controls, the subprocessor list and the data residency statement. The SOC 2 Type I audit is in progress, and the report goes there the day it is issued. The DPA is published at https://calven.ai/dpa and applies to every plan without a signature. Security questionnaires and vendor onboarding forms go to procurement@calven.ai.

Calven does not sign an MSA on the buyer's paper and does not redline contracts. Where that is a hard requirement, Calven is not a fit.

## How do you pay?

Card on any plan. Bank debit (ACH) on annual plans and add-ons. Annual Professional and Enterprise plans can be invoiced Net 30 against a PO: email procurement@calven.ai and Calven sends an order form to sign. There is no sales call at any point in the process.

## Security and compliance

A SOC 2 Type I audit is in progress. Customer data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the EU, separated by tenant and encrypted in transit and at rest. The DPA, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses, is published at https://calven.ai/dpa. Security controls and the subprocessor list are in the Trust Center.

## Startup Program

Early-stage companies under $1M ARR with fewer than 10 employees can apply for the Startup Program, which is the full Professional plan at 75% off for 12 months: $200 a month billed annually ($2,400 a year), or $250 a month billed monthly.
