A world-class PMM department for every company

Calven is an AI product marketing platform that runs competitive intelligence, customer research, audience definition, positioning, and messaging for B2B SaaS and tech companies with an overstretched PMM team or no PMM yet.

What Calven does

Research & Intelligence

The Competitive Intelligence Agent tracks competitors’ sites, docs, and pricing and keeps battle cards current, and the Market Research Agent follows industry trends and category shifts. The Voice of Customer Agent mines call transcripts for pains, objections, and buyer language, and the Win/Loss Agent collects structured feedback from deal participants to explain why you win and lose.

Target Audience

The ICP Agent defines your ideal customer profile from real account signals and checks it against live pipeline. The Personas Agent builds and maintains buyer and user personas, then role-plays them to pressure-test your messaging before it ships.

Positioning & Messaging

The Positioning Agent owns your positioning, category, and differentiation, and the Messaging Agent writes and updates your messaging framework by persona and journey stage. The Product Intelligence Agent monitors your own site and docs and keeps one canonical product profile that positioning, messaging, and battle cards draw on.

What makes Calven different

Built to run without you opening it

Most SaaS tools pull you back into their app. Calven makes the app optional. Agents post in Slack when something changes or needs your decision, and your team works with the knowledge base from Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini through the Calven MCP server.

Agents do the work. Your team makes the calls.

Each agent owns one PMM job and does it, not just flags it: battle cards, personas, and messaging get written and updated, not queued as alerts. Your team decides which updates need approval and which publish directly.

PMM best practices built in

Calven is opinionated. Each agent follows established PMM frameworks for ICPs, personas, positioning, messaging, battle cards, and win/loss, so your team starts from a proven structure, not a blank prompt.

One knowledge base, every PMM agent

Every agent reads from and writes to one knowledge base, and keeps it current on its own. When a win/loss finding shifts your positioning, battle cards and messaging follow. Anyone in the company can use it from their AI assistant through the Calven MCP server.

Published pricing, self-serve trial

Calven publishes every price, including Enterprise: from $2,000/mo. No “contact sales” wall, no quote to negotiate, and no demo before you see the product. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card.

Who uses Calven

  • Overstretched PMM teams. You have the people, not the hours. Agents run competitive monitoring and keep personas, positioning, and messaging current, and sales gets battle cards that match what competitors did this week.
  • Companies with no PMM yet. A founder, product lead, or marketing lead owns positioning today. Agents lay the competitive, ICP, persona, and messaging foundation, and your first PMM hire inherits a working system.
  • PMM agencies and consultancies. Agents run the initial competitive, customer, and audience research when an engagement starts, so the project time goes to building the PMM practice with your client. When the project ends, Calven stays. The client’s team owns it and keeps the work current.
  • Early-stage startups. Companies under $1M ARR with fewer than 10 employees qualify for the Startup Program: Professional at 75% off for 12 months. See the program

Who Calven is not for

  • Pure B2C companies. The agents are built around B2B buying: ICPs, buyer personas, competitive deals, and a sales pipeline.
  • Services companies. Calven is not built to market a services business itself. The agents work around a software or tech product: its competitors, buyers, and positioning. PMM agencies and consultancies use Calven on their clients’ products.

The team behind Calven

Both founders came up through Ataccama, a B2B data management company, where David ran product marketing and both watched PMM teams stitch together disconnected tools to do work that belonged in one connected system. They founded Calven in April 2026, bootstrapped.

David Kolinek, Co-founder & CEO at Calven
David Kolinek
Co-founder & CEO

David spent a decade in B2B, working across product and go-to-market. He built Calven because the right platform didn’t exist. Every team he worked with was stitching together disconnected tools to do work that should have lived in one connected system.

Lukas Kolek, Co-founder & CTO at Calven
Lukas Kolek
Co-founder & CTO

Lukas spent his career leading engineering teams inside B2B software companies. He’s the technology lead behind Calven, but he thinks like a product person first. He obsesses over how the work feels for the people using it, not just the systems running underneath.

Two weeks trial. You'll only need a day.

A day is all it takes to see what the agents can do for you.

How Calven works

Channels

Calven runs as a web app, and every plan includes the Calven MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. Professional and Enterprise add the Slack app, where agents post in the channels your team already uses when something changes, plus CRM and call transcript integrations.

Onboarding

Onboarding takes your company name and URL, nothing else. Agents run the initial online research on their own, and about 30 minutes later your knowledge base is ready to use. No setup, no sales call, and a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

Support

Email support@calven.ai for product help. Security reviews, questionnaires, and order forms go to procurement@calven.ai, and the Trust Center at trust.calven.ai holds security controls, the subprocessor list, and the data residency statement.

Frequently asked questions

Is Calven related to Calven, the workplace app at calven.com?

No. Calven (calven.ai) is the AI product marketing platform, built by Calven AI, LLC. Calven (calven.com) is a separate company that makes a workplace and desk booking app. The two share a name and nothing else: different companies, products, reviews, and pricing.

Who is Calven for?

Calven is for B2B SaaS and tech companies that need product marketing done well without a large PMM team. That includes PMM teams that are overstretched and companies with no dedicated PMM yet that need competitive intelligence, personas, and messaging before their first hire, plus PMM agencies and consultancies working on a client’s product.

Who is Calven not for?

Calven is not for pure B2C companies, because its agents work around ICPs, buyer personas, competitive deals, and a sales pipeline. It is also not built to market a services business itself, because the agents work around a software or tech product. PMM agencies and consultancies use Calven on their clients’ products, and the client holds the plan.

Does Calven work for companies without a PMM team?

Yes. Calven’s agents start from a company name and URL, then monitor competitors, define the ICP and personas, and build a messaging framework with no PMM required to set them up. The first PMM hire inherits a working system instead of a blank page.

Who founded Calven?

Calven was founded in April 2026 by David Kolinek (CEO) and Lukas Kolek (CTO), who both came up through Ataccama, a B2B data management company. David rose to VP of Product Marketing there, and Lukas rose from software engineer to Director of Engineering.

How much does Calven cost?

Calven has three published plans: Individual $99/mo, Professional $1,000/mo, Enterprise from $2,000/mo. Annual billing takes 20% off Professional and Enterprise, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

How is Calven different from Klue or Crayon?

Klue and Crayon focus on competitive intelligence and sales enablement, and Klue also runs win/loss. Calven covers competitive intelligence and win/loss plus market research, voice of customer, ICP, personas, positioning, and messaging, with nine agents working from one shared knowledge base. Calven also publishes its pricing and runs a self-serve 14-day trial with no credit card.

How is Calven different from Clozd?

Clozd is a dedicated win/loss provider that runs buyer interviews and surveys, with consultant-led options. Calven’s Win/Loss Agent collects structured feedback from deal participants, and its findings feed the same knowledge base that positioning, messaging, personas, and battle cards draw on.
