How do I connect Calven MCP?

Needs a Calven workspace (14-day trial, no card). Paste the server URL into your AI tool, choose OAuth and sign in.

Connect Calven to Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector in claude.ai or Claude Desktop.
  2. Name it Calven, paste the server URL and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to Calven, then enable Calven from the tools menu in a new chat.

What is Calven MCP?

Calven MCP is a remote Model Context Protocol server at https://api.calven.ai/mcp. It gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and any other MCP client read access to your company’s approved ICP, positioning, messaging, personas, competitor intel, win/loss and customer evidence in Calven, with the source behind every answer.

Which AI tools work with Calven MCP?

Any client that supports remote Streamable HTTP with OAuth or a bearer header. Setup steps are documented for Claude (claude.ai and desktop), ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and Codex. Per-client test status is in the public repository.

Can Calven MCP change our data?

No. The server is read-only: it writes, sends and publishes nothing. The one action, review_against_personas, starts a persona review and returns findings without changing your workspace.

How does authentication work?

Each person signs in to Calven with OAuth and sees only what their Calven role allows. Admins decide whether call transcripts and pipeline are readable over MCP, and removing a user removes their MCP access. Clients without OAuth can use a personal key.

How does Calven MCP prevent AI hallucinations?

It answers only from what is recorded in your Calven workspace, and every claim carries its source. When nothing is recorded, the server says so instead of filling the gap from web search or model memory. Dashboard numbers come with their sample size and window.
